The International School of Boden (ISB) educates students from the ages of 6 to 19. The program with internationally trained and experienced teachers provides students with a high-quality worldwide curriculum that is transferable and recognized universally. 

About Us

The International School of Boden, located just south of the arctic circle, educates students from the ages of 6 to 19. Our foundation is built on the green industrial revolution taking place in the north of Sweden and the need for an international community in our region. With the growing number of international families moving to Boden, we have decided to match this demand with the opening of an International Education Program with internationally trained and experienced teachers to provide students with a high-quality worldwide curriculum that is transferable and recognized universally. 

Our campuses are located so that they can be easily accessed by bike and public transportation. All our schools serve students a cooked meal for lunch every day an there is always a vegetarian option.

Candidate School 

The International School of Boden is a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme and Middle Years Programme. This means we are working towards becoming fully authorized to offer these programmes. We are already authorized to offer the IB Diploma Programme and are recognized as an IB World School at that level.

What is an IB World School?

IB World Schools offer international education programmes that aim to develop students who are curious, knowledgeable, and caring. These programmes focus on high academic standards and respect for different cultures and perspectives.
